Some people say television contributes more than other modern inventions to the quality of life of ordinary people. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays the population think that TV plays an important role in the population's life more than a mobile phone or computer. The TV set was part of entertainment for all individuals, but with the development of the latest technologies where the community can find all information or watch their favourite shows anytime, little by little
television
was replaced. I totally disagree with the statement as in the present era mobile phones and social
media
impact more on the quality of life.
To begin
with, new technologies widely impact the well-being of the population. Mobile phone attract more attention rather than
television
, as it allows us to discover required information or show it anytime and anywhere,
also
it is convenient for the person to handle it anywhere he goes.
For instance
, at family ,gatherings if the nation wants to watch their favourite show they just need to open their mobile phone and search for the name of that series. These inventions resolve so many problems with time management and play a crucial part in the comfort of living. The next improvement in individuals' standard of living is social
media
evolution. Networking through social platforms entertains society easily. Scrolling the feed of social networks can distract individuals and occupy all their attention.
For example
,
such
applications as TikTok are more entertaining and interesting. The video clips there are recorded by ordinary families and attract more nations to spend their time scrolling the feed.
While
television
shows only celebrities and actors.
That is
why social
media
impacts more on happiness and quality of life
.
Correct quantifier usage
more.
show examples
In my opinion, mobile phones and social
media
effects more rather than scheduled shows of actors on
television
. Mobile inventions are convenient to handle and easy to access quickly.
Also
through mobile people can explore social
media
apps and series that they want to watch.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
