area with both new buildings and converted ones during the mentioned period of time. Regarding the northern part, the warehouse on the northwest side of the dock was renovated into an educational centre,

the other warehouse was removed to make space for a kid's playing area.

, the crane which used to situate between two old warehouses was demolished and turned into a new sailing club. In the southern part, the most notable alternation is the removal of the crane and the warehouse to make way for the construction of three other buildings including a hotel, an apartment block and the parking area with a riverwalk in front of them. It is worth mentioning the land for parking ships in the middle of the dock is now transformed into a ship museum with a newly-added bridge and a flood barrier constructed on the eastern side.
