Some people believe teachers should have the final say about children’s education, while others believe parents should make these decisions. Discuss both sides.
There has been a debate over
children
's careers and whether teachers
should have control over the ultimate decisions of parents
. While
teachers
know their student's strengths and weaknesses, parents
plan best for a better tomorrow. This
essay will discuss both arguments and derive a logical conclusion.
Students spend most of their time in school performing in front of their teachers
. Since teachers
keep a record of each student, they know where each of their pupils is lagging or performing well. Furthermore
, because mentors are not thinking emotionally, they tend to take a decision based on the accomplishment which will suit their pupils in a better way. For instance
, if a child has a great interest in soccer and performs well, they will not force to study science or any other subjects. Thus
, there is a rationale behind any decision when recommending any field of study.
On the other hand
, parents
are considered the best mentors for their children
as they want them to excel in future. Unlike teachers
changes frequently, a guardian remains with them throughout their life and provides all the required support. Further
, as they are emotional for their kids, they tend to take selections based on sentiments instead
of the child's likes or dislikes. For instance
,if a kid is weak in science, nonetheless
, parents
will try to persuade them to become a doctor. Hence
, parents
' decisions are based on a successful future for their children
.
In conclusion, although
teachers
' verdicts are more performance-based, in my opinion, parents
are the best people to have a final say about their children
as they watch them grow and work hard with them for their success by providing financial and emotional support.Submitted by yoursvicky129 on
