The line chart illustrates the among of books read by males and females at Burnaby Public Library from 2011 to 2014. Looking from an
overall
perspective, it is readily apparent that male reading quantity had dramatically increased
whereas
the number of female's reading had felled in the period of time. In 2011, females read more books than males, standing at 5000 and 3000 per year respectively. In the following 2 years, male book reading sharply grew which surpassed the number of female reading in 2013 after a slightly rose in 2012. In the period of the end, male's reading reached 14000.
On the other hand
, female readings dipped to 1000 and
then
significantly fell to about 7000 readings in 2014, which is almost half of that male number.
