My name is Amandeep Singh and I am writing
this
letter in response to an advertisement published by your manager. To give you a brief detail about my academics, I have completed my social well-being course at Humber College.I believe I can be a perfect fit for this
role because of the qualifications I possess.
Talking about my professional experience, I was enrolled with CARE NGO for almost a year where my job was to take care of kids. My hard work and dedication to my job got me certain certificates from the administration team. As soon as I heard that there is an opportunity to volunteer with the six-year-old child, I couldn't resist sending you an email. I would be grateful to you if you consider me for this
position.
If I got a chance to be a babysitter in Australia, I would love to enrol myself on a short-term music course. I have heard from my friend that Melbourne music school conducts various classes on music and gives certificates to the participants which are recognised worldwide. If you need any further
information please feel free to connect with me over email.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Amandeep Singh.Submitted by caamandeepsinghsaluja on

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
