An international student magazine has invited its readers to submit a letter arguing for immediate action on a key environmental issue. You decide to write a letter, briefly describing an environmental problem that concerns you, explaining why you are arguing for immediate action and recommending appropriate measures to rectify the situation.
Dear Sir,
My name is Amandeep Singh and I am writing
this
letter in response to an advertisement published by your Manager in Times of India. As you know, the residents of Delhi NCR are facing severe health problems because of the pollution, I request you to take some strict actions in order to tackle the situation.
My neighbour, Manpreet Singh, who is 25 years got admitted to hospital because of a breathing problem. Other residents of Delhi are also
facing similar issues. If no action is taken immediately, I am afraid, people will with severe health issues.
I guess the Government needs to step up and take some strict actions. Encouraging people to use public modes of transport, and banning construction work in winter are some of the measures which can be taken immediately. A helpline number should be made available for the public to help them.
Yours sincerely,
Amandeep Singh.Submitted by caamandeepsinghsaluja on
