Some people think the government should subsidize fruit and vegetables to make healthy food more affordable. Other argue that the government should tax unhealthy food instead. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is believed that
government
should remove taxes on fruit and vegetables so that healthy
food
is more accessible to the netizen.
However
,some individuals argue that the local authorities should tax unhealthy
food
instead
. In
this
essay, I will elaborate on both views and I will give my opinion. In the present circumstances, healthy
food
has become extremely expensive mainly Bio products which are good for health but are not affordable for poor
people
. The
government
sensibilise
people
to have a healthy
lifestyle
but it is contradictory that a healthy
lifestyle
is expensive
such
as gym fees , and vegetables and fruits are not accessible to everyone. So, I believe that the local authority should subsidize healthy products. Though unhealthy
food
will be subjected to tax,
people
will continue to eat junk
food
. I strongly believe that the
government
should have free canvassing to encourage a healthy
lifestyle
.
Moreover
, the
government
should make sport free and accessible to everyone by creating more gymnasiums and
also
provide women with children facilities
such
as free babysitting so that women can
also
benefit from a healthy
lifestyle
.
Furthermore
, I believe that school and district councils should organise weekly free activities for young
people
and free coaching as well.
On the other hand
, the authorities can encourage
people
to produce their own crops by giving them some small courses on planting, giving them seeds and equipment for free. In conclusion, I strongly approve of the idea that health products should be accessible to all social classes.
However
, taxing unhealthy
food
will not change the bad habits of
people
. The
government
should provide facilities and educate
people
on how to stop eating unhealthy
food
and to produce their own
food
.
