Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Following the development of cities, environmental damage nowadays is no longer a negligible issue towards society.
This
situation already damaging people's life and even the whole planet, but our society still not putting in the effort to change the situation. Some people believe that the main reason for the environmental problems is the decrement of particular species of
plants
and
animals
.
In contrast
, others think that there are more crucial environmental troubles. I’ll discuss both views in
this
essay and give my own thoughts. The loss of vegetation is usually caused by population
such
as construction activities.
For example
, deforestation will cause
animals
losing habitat and lead to the extinction of
plants
and
animals
, which will affect the natural cycle
also
. Nowadays
plants
and
animals
are still the main food provision sources for society.
Therefore
, if we keep losing
plants
and
animals
,a shortage of food will happen in the whole world, especially in low-income countries. There are a few solutions to avoid
this
situation
such
as reforestation, using recycled products and encouraging sustainable products.
On the other hand
, there are other important causes of environmental issues
such
as
air
and environmental pollution. It’s very obvious that the
air
quality nowadays is worse than
last
time, especially in cities.
This
is mostly because of the gas emissions from factories and private cars. The
air
pollution problem will not only affect the
air
quality, and
also
causes global warming. Even if public transportation is provided in cities, people will still prefer private cars because it’s more comfortable and convenient for them and it’s
also
hard for them to change their habits. In my opinion, there are more crucial environmental problems than the loss of flora and fauna. Both of these issues shouldn’t be neglected by humans because they are responsible for most of the environmental damage. Many solutions have been provided but the only way to make it works is depend on the effort we put in.
Thus
, everybody should try to save our environment and planet for a better future and healthier environment.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
