Some people believe that the higher the product is priced, the more likely it is that people will want to buy it. To what extent does price influence potential buyers? What other factors influence people to buy a product ?

of the consumers has been studied under research for the
last
few decades. Various factors affect the decision-making of
people
while
buying
products
. Pricing is considered as one of the most influential elements in
this
regard. Companies
also
use some other strategies to grab customer's attention like advertisements, high-
quality
products
or digital marketing. Nowadays,
people
like to buy high-priced
products
because they think of them as
quality
products
. It is a general perception that
quality
product
is always expensive
due to
their high manufacturing cost.
Moreover
, it
also
comes into consideration that high prices represent a status symbol.
People
feel rich by having and showing expensive items.
Furthermore
, different brands use
this
psychic behaviour of their clients and affiliate them with their
products
.
For example
, Apple company launches the most expensive iPhone and
people
use to buy them whether they can afford it or not.
While
discussing the other factors affecting the decisive strategies of customers, advertisement is at the top of the list. Merchandises manipulate customers by showing attractive ads and
people
purchase goods whether they need it or not.
For example
, if an advertisement is continuously popping up on our social media accounts, we interestingly watch it and ultimately it developed an interest in buying that particular
product
and we ended up fulfilling our desire to purchase it. The
quality
of the good is another element that influences the consumer's buying decision.
People
tend to buy a high-
quality
product
whether it is expensive or not. Concluding to
this
, if the
product
is overpriced
people
are encouraged to buy that.
However
, it is not the only factor that has an impact on customer's decision-making. A good advertisement, marketing,
quality
and goodwill or good reviews
also
have a great influence on potential consumers' buying decisions.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
