The chart shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.
The line graph depicts how often
people
in the USA eat at fast food
restaurants
from 2003 to 2013.
As can be seen from the graph, a majority of Americans ate fast food
at restaurants
from once every week to once or twice every month. Meanwhile, only a minority reached there every day.
To commence with, well under 35% of the surveyed American people
in 2006 went to drive-in restaurants
once a week, followed by people
in 2003 (above 30%) and in 2013 (below 30%). Interestingly, the same percentage was repeated by people
in 2013 who claimed to eat out once or twice a month, with the second most likely being the 2003’s people
at exactly 30%. In comparison, only 25% of people
in 2006 chose to eat at convenience food
inns once monthly, which is 10% fewer than those who eat once weekly.
On the other hand
, the interviewed people
in all periods were least likely to eat fast food
on a daily basis or never try it previously. To be specific, those who did not go to processed food
restaurants
on average were slightly more than the ones that ate there every day. As for the Americans eating convenience food
daily, both people
in 2006 and in 2013 were equally lower than those in 2003 (roughly 3% compared to around 4% sequentially).Submitted by vinhduong010103 on
