The given diagram illustrates the process by which the aluminium cans are recycled by using the machine. In general, there are three main stages in the whole process namely collecting, processing, and reusing.
Firstly
, the used aluminium bottles in trash boxes are collected regularly using a truck and
then
they are stored in a company having a modern machine. In
this
place, they are cleaned using hot water in order to kill the bacteria. At the same time, they are sorted and shredded and afterwards compressed by machine, which will make the next process easier.
Secondly
, the compressed cans are heated at high temperatures in order to melt them, compared to lower temperatures they will be hard to roll as a layer. After melting, they are rolled carefully between 2.5 mm and 6 mm thick to get a good layer.
This
is important to do since they need to be shaped and recycled to be other products.
Finally
, more than 70% of recycled cans are used for other products
such
as Coca-Cola in the UK every year.
