You live in a block of flats; your neighbour makes a lot of noise which has caused problems for you. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter, you should: explain the situation tell him/her how you are effected by this Suggest what you want the landlord to do.
Hello sir,
I hope my letter finds you well. To introduce myself, I am Jasmeen Kaur, a tenant living in one of your flats for the past 3 years. To be specific, my address is 43-A, model town, Southhall. The major reason for writing
this
letter is to inform you about some problems that I and my family are facing because of our noisy neighbours.
Starting with, my grandmother is in recovery from her knee replacement surgery. It was a critical procedure and she is extremely bothered by the unpleasant environment created by the people living next door. They party 4-5 times a week with loud music and dance the whole night. Their place gets crowded more than its occupancy and the guests break glasses, and bottles of alcohol after drinking, and scream at the top of their lungs like they own the entire place. Additionally
, I am currently preparing myself for my upcoming medical examination and it is very hard for me to concentrate or learn in such
hostile circumstances.
Moreover
, I am requesting you to have a tough conversation with them and take strict action on this
matter. Please give them a warning notice if you have to as they need to understand that there are many other residents who are sharing this
building with them. I would really appreciate it and will be very thankful to you for this
act of kindness.
Best regards,
Jasmeen Kaur.Submitted by 12jasmeenkaur on
