Today youth is more vulnerable to playing
video
games
instead
of playing
games
on the field. The
last
decade has seen a massive increase in
computer
ownership.
Computers
have become must-haves. I have seen people even sleeping with their laptops and mobile phones on their beds. With more accessibility to the internet, it has become quite common for youngsters to have
video
games
on their
computers
. There are good and malicious effects of playing
computer
games
. In
this
,essay I will be discussing both standpoints. Looking at the negative side
first,
teenagers now seem to have lost their interest in playing physical outdoor
games
, all thanks to the easy availability of
computers
and the internet.
This
not only makes them lethargic but
also
teens are more prone to mental issues with weak eyesight. Playing
computer
games
has
also
contributed to less social engagement in children. They avoid talking to strangers and develop a more introverted nature. Contant screen time
also
leads to depression.
On the other hand
, in today's modernized world knowing technology is considered an asset. Teenagers playing
video
games
are more active using
computers
and as obvious their typing improves over time. Concluding all the factors discussed above, playing
computer
games
have more downside than positive. Excessive use of
computers
leads to aggressiveness in teenagers, they cut themselves from society to devote their time to playing
video
games
and I believe the main reason for youngsters playing more
computer
games
is the excessive availability of
computers
and
also
their ascendants pay less attention to them due their jobs.
