You recently took a trip with a taxi company. The driver behaved in an unacceptable way and you had a lot of problems. You complained to the company but no-one has replied to your complaint. Write a letter to the taxi company. In your letter * say why you are writing and how you feel * explain what happened * tell them what you would like them to do.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to follow up on a complaint that I filed with

, I have not received any response or acknowledgement from your end.
This
is truly disappointing as it paints quite the opposite picture of your company's vision, which suggests that you always put your customer first.

Let me explain in detail what exactly I faced on the unfortunate trip. Once I boarded the taxi, he started yelling at me for no particular reason, I could easily smell alcohol in his breath. Because of

This
incident has shattered my trust and I would not be keeping calm until I get justice. I request to take action against him, you can find my trip history attached to

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
