Overall
, it can be seen that all ways of transportation had a climb in the percentage of use except for
cars
which had a decrease.
In addition
, automobiles were the most frequently used vehicle in 2004 and
buses
were a choice in 2009. In detail,
cars
and
buses
were the top choices for commuters as a form of transit in 2009. The former accounts for the majority at 51% and the latter more than a quarter at 33%. It was
also
noted that some own a bicycle, others ride a train and even decide to walk. These three alternative modes of transportation share less than 10% of the totality. After five years, all forms of vehicles had a rise in usage except for
cars
which had a decline by roughly half of its proportion in 2004.
Buses
on the other hand
rocketed to 46%, an increase of 13%. Bicycle users had a share of almost twice its figure in the
last
five years at 16%. Walking and train still landed the end options for passengers which gave a share of 6% and 4%, respectively.
