Professions like doctors and engineers play a pivotal role in society.Their work is often a matter of debate.
While
a few believe it should be solely based on one’s personal choice rather than social norms.But, a few are on the opposite side of the coin. In

,essay I will be discussing both views and explain the reasons behind why I believe the former is better. Being in a responsible position does not merely mean we have no personal choice.Duty and lifestyle are two different things and both of them should be individual choices like any other department.

, a dear friend of mine, Ram who graduated from medical school was forced by his relatives and other family members to pursue post-graduation in the village he grew up.
Whereas
, Sreya had a different plan to fly to London so that she could work on her favourite subject. With many challenges she faced academically and emotionally, she

, they will always carry the extra baggage of guilt which would affect their work.
On the contrary
, a few sections of society have an opposite view that one should serve their hometown rather than somewhere far. Talented and skilled are always in need of upgradation ,especially in developing countries like India.As per the observations made by Times of India nearly 69 per cent of graduates are leaving the country for a higher qualification in recent years which is a growing concern as they are very few students left. In

way, there would be few or no future developments in most essential sectors like medicine.
To conclude
,though it is a boon for the local citizens to not have enough renowned doctors and engineers, it should be a personal choice as the service provided should be wholehearted rather than forceful.
