There is construction taking place near your home and the noise is disturbing you. Write a letter to your local council. In the letter, Describe the construction Explain why the construction is a problem for you Say what you would like them to do about it You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to describe the disturbance faced by us, because of the road construction
taking place on "Wilson Avenue" for the past month. There is new road line construction
going on, on my street along with
the repairment of the existing old road, location starting from 5th street upto the 10th street on above mentioned Avenue.
The main problem faced by us is that the majority of the work is done during night time, especially from 9 PM to 6 AM. Which creates excessive noise, as a result
, me and my family is facing issues during sleep, my children are not able to concentrate well on their studies and sleep properly during these hours.
Lastly
, I would really appreciate that if you could make some adjustments in
the Change preposition
to
construction
hours and streamline the entire project. This
will result in less disturbance for us and particularly at midnight hours. Additionally
, I would also
like to suggest to the council if the construction
could be stopped from 1 AM to 5 AM, this
can also
work.
I hope the council will consider my request and take in your concern the same. Thanking you in advance.
