Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by the government rather than private companies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is sometimes argued that the
government
should conduct scientific research
instead
of personal organizations. Personally, I would disagree with this
opinion.
There are two reasons why I deny this
idea. Firstly
, the private companies will go bankrupt soon if all research
are
carried out by the Change the verb form

government
. It will result in fewer job opportunities and fewer people who choose to pursue their careers in scientific fields. Moreover
, it further
limits the development of novel science and slows down the publishment of scientific literature, which causes an interruption of academic communication. Additionally
, there will be more occupational competition due to
the lack of job vacancies if the state performs all experiments. Secondly
, the origin of scientific findings should not be divided by organizations. Both private and public research
institutes are capable of carrying out vital research
topics, and it can allow equal competition as well. Besides
, I believe governments should also
offer a
support to those companies financially and technically.

On the other hand
, there are still some advantages if governments take responsibility for research
. The government
is likely to have enough funding for any type of research
, which means the quality of the study can be assured. By contrast
, personal institutes tend to have insufficient budgets and fewer well-maintained facilities. They might also
look for a good reputation which makes them focus on quantity, not quality. Therefore
, misconduct is more common in private research
labs.
In conclusion, the government
should not stop the growth of private labs and instead
the existence of them could benefit the academic field. Add a comma

However
, the government led
labs are more likely to produce high standard studies.Add a hyphen
