You recently moved to a new house and you want to invite an old friend to stay with you. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter: -Invite him to stay and suggest a date. -Describe the new house and garden. -Say why you like your house.
Dear James,
I hope you’re well. I’m writing to let you know that I’ve just moved to a new house.
I’d be cheerful if you can come here for a visit
this
summer, as the weather is mild at that time and the kids and I will have a summer break, so we can enjoy the time together.
The new house is a four-bedroom cottage located in the suburb of Kingston, surrounded by pine trees and next to a creek and a jungle. The ex-owner was very good at gardening, so there is a picturesque garden with tulips, lavenders and cherry blossoms that we can see them blooming in the summer.
To be honest, this
is my dream home ever as it looks like a botanical garden where I can let off some steam after a hard working day, and the kids can frolic outdoors every day. We don’t have to go elsewhere
for a picnic at all.
I hope to see you here then
. I’m sure you love the house too.
Best regards,
