Discipline is an ever increasing problem in modern schools. Some people think that discipline is the responsibility of teachers while other think that this is the role of parents. In this essay I will discuss both the viewpoints and share my opinion.

A common belief is that
children
will learn
discipline
in school so educated
people
should be more polite and responsible.
However
, another belief is that youngers learn
manners
from their
parents
. In
this
essay we will discuss whether it is
parents
' responsibility to teach responsibility and
manners
to
children
or the educational system is responsible for
this
or if it is both's, what aspects are the duties of either of them. Family is where every child is bred from birth to adulthood. In the first five to seven years,
children
learn how to speak, communicate, take a shower, eat, drink and express their needs inside their family.
In other words
, the basic structure of their mental and actual behaviour is shaped by the family and obviously by their
parents
. Even after starting school, the younger generation learns and even copies some behaviours from their
parents
.
For instance
,
children
pay attention to their
parents
at the dining table and try to behave
similarly
to their
parents
. So table
manners
are shaped inside the family. Even by observing their
parents
, not only do they face lots of aspects of marriage, but the basis of their conception of marriage is formed by witnessing their
parents
' shared life.
In addition
, psychologists believe that the roots of many unsuccessful marriages are inside the family in which they have grown up. The influence of
people
of the same age on each other is quite more than
people
from any other age.
People
try to behave like their age group, especially in their adolescence. School is the place where
children
live , learn and play with their friends and teachers are the only grown-ups among them. So their behaviour as a mature person can greatly affect their attitude. By talking to two kids who are angry with each other, tutors can indirectly teach them to solve their problems through diplomacy. By encouraging
children
to keep their desks tidy, by considering detention for the person who is rude to others, by making
children
attend classes on time and etc,
children
can use their position to influence kids in the best way and educate them in another field which is practical in their life;
discipline
and
manners
.
To conclude
, either
parents
or teachers have a great influence on
children
and have their separate roles as
discipline
tutors. Kids learn
manners
and
discipline
from both simultaneously and neither of them should deny their role and complain to others.
