The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
The given diagram illustrates the process of producing
sugar
from sugar
cane.
Overall
, the entire circle consists of seven steps. It begins with cultivating sugar
canes, followed by different stages of crushing, filtering, evaporating and sorting before it ends with drying and cooling the final product.
To begin
with, sugar
canes need cultivating for more than 1 year before it is mature enough with crucial nutrients. Afterwards, it is ready to be harvested by local farmers or a specific truck to be transported to the crushing phase. Once there, those collected sugar
canes are broken down into juice and the waste will be removed. The juice has to undergo a stage where it will be purified by a limestone filter.
The cleaned liquid is then
poured into an evaporator to be heated or incinerated until it completely transforms into syrup. The next step involves centrifuging where tiny carbohydrate crystals are detached from syrup. Eventually, the sorted crystals will be waiting to be dried and cooled before it becomes a final product.Submitted by vonguyenkhai1234 on
