The chart below gives some of the most reported issues among people living in UK cities in 2008 (%).

The bar chart illustrates the amount of some most concerning problems that UK citizens suffered in various regions in the year 2008.

It is clear that

most people living in cities in the UK had issues with health services

as well as

education and training,

whereas

the opposite was true for air pollution. As can be seen, health services were the most common problem in most cities. Belfast and Cardiff were recorded to be at the top of the list with nearly 60%, followed by Birmingham which stood at 55%. All these 3 areas

also

shared the same percentage of education and training issues as it comprised more than 50%.

Besides

while

air pollution in Cardiff took up 12%, the figure for that in Birmingham and Belfast was 8% and 6% respectively.

In addition

, the rest 4 cities made up approximately 50% of the health service. The proportion for education and training in Newcastle and Manchester accounted for 45%, compared to the sum of that in Glasgow

together with

London was almost 55%. The Polluted air problem in Manchester was the highest of all when it took up over 15%, in comparison with only 5% in Newcastle.
