Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.
The line graph displays data trends about overseas
visitors
to
mountain
, coast and lake areas of a European country from 1987 to 2007.
It is clear that
the
overall
amount of travellers increased throughout the years for all the considered regions, with a steep rise for coastal travel, modest growth for
mountain
areas, and a wild fluctuation for lake tourism. Coastal and
mountain
tourism enjoyed a roughly stable increase in the number of tourists throughout the considered time interval. The number of
visitors
in
mountain
areas almost doubled in 20 years, climbing from 20 000 people to slightly below 40 000 tourists. Coastal tourism saw a slight decrease from 1987 to 1992 but
then
surged by 40000
visitors
in 1992 to almost 80000 in 2007. The number of foreigners to the lake area of the European country steadily rose from 1987 to 1997,
then
steeply jumped from 40000 to roughly 80000 but
then
sank by almost 50% in the following ten years, reaching a total of 50000
visitors
in 2007.
