increase in 2030. Germany is predicted to have the highest percentage of old people in 2030

the UK with the lowest percentage. In 1988, the proportion of 65 years old and more in Canada was 16.32%, it increased by around 4 % in the year 2000. A similar pattern is observed in Germany that started at 20.45% and
then
25.32 in 1998 and 2000 respectively. Both countries are forecast to increase at least 5% by 2030. As for the UK, it showed the lowest number of older people with 14.23% and is
also
similar in 2000 with 14.89%. By 2030, it is speculated to reach 20.35%.
