Society, however, is more accepting of those with physical than phychological illnesses or disablities. The letter being regarded as a 'taboo' subject sometimes. It is often said that the society favours physical disabilities over mental disabilities. In short, the world today considers any discussion surrounding mental health to be a 'taboo' topic. In this essay, I will explain the reasons why I completely agree with this statement. I agree that people with mental illnesses are heavily judged and discriminated against in society.
