is not a good idea as it increases state budgets for the elderly who are weak and require support or

with, the idea that living very long is noble is supported by individuals who value the wisdom and experience of those who are aged. The aged can help in solving life problems with their experiences. Culture and history are

also

preserved as grandparents continue to share them with young people.

For example

, many studies state that European nations have managed to conserve their cultures

due to

the proliferation of adult populations (owing to scientific advancement) in the continent.

However

, I pinpoint that the adult populations have created great distress on the financial budgets of European nations.

On the other hand

therefore

, it is more justifiable to believe that science increasing the lifespan of individuals is a bad thing.

That is

because the elderly tend to lose their abilities and health as they grow older making it difficult and expensive to

care

for them. Britain,

for instance

, has been forced (by the huge numbers of people over 60

years

suffering from different illnesses) to outsource

care

workers from Africa and other parts of the world

due to

the high demand for

such

professionals.

Hence

this

essay disagrees that

is a good thing for the nation. In conclusion, the essay concurs with the opinion that science increasing lifespan to 200

years

is a bad thing because,

while

promoting the conservation of culture, it is more expensive and demanding to provide

care

to older individuals when they develop sicknesses and lose their abilities to be independent.
