You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter, • describe the situation • explain your problems and why it is difficult to work • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my accommodation, as I am having plenty of difficulties sharing my room with another student. I am a current resident of the Main building and I am enrolled in social science study. I have completed my first semester and I would like to report a few problems I am facing in my flat. Since I am sharing my room with a music student, I usually hear lots of music played even late at night.
This
has been disturbing for me because I prefer quiet environments where I can study late at night or when I take a rest at night sometimes.
Moreover
, I
also
noticed that my roommate does not follow the routine which we planned
initially
for cleaning the apartment.
This
has been too inconvenient for me and I feel that I would be better off staying in a one-bedroom or studio flat.
Hence
, I would like to kindly request a change of accommodation to a one-bedroom or studio flat. It would be great if I can get the bigger one-bedroom apartment since I am planning to work on group projects soon. Kindly please resolve my concern at the earliest. Yours faithfully, Ana.
