As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an important element of individual wellbeing. What factors contribute jobs satisfaction ? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers ?

These days,
people
spend most of their time at the workplace.
Therefore
,
job
satisfaction is essential because mental health is significantly related. We examine the factors that may increase
people
's
job
satisfaction. Everyone knows that if a person is satisfied with his
job
, his performance will improve.
People
often pay attention to interest first and
then
to
income
to choose a
job
.
However
, if
this
income
is not profitable for them, their priority will change. Living costs are increasing daily, so
income
can be one of the most critical factors for a comfortable life. The
work
environment
conditions
also
play an essential role in
people
's motivation to
work
.
For example
, if you are an employee whose
income
remains constant without encouragement and promotion, you probably do not feel the need to
work
hard.
Also
, if you know you will get a salary increase with regularity and high efficiency, you will
work
harder. Many jobs are demanding and harmful;
for example
, doctors and nurses are constantly involved with much stress, construction workers may not be able to
work
if something happens to them, or psychologists may have mental illnesses after a
while
.
Such
jobs should have proper salaries because they are essential
people
in society, and their working
conditions
are challenging.
As a result
, many expectations are realistic.
However
, if the
conditions
are very suitable, there are still
people
whose criteria are different from others or beyond the employer's ability. The
conditions
are compatible. So our expectations are only sometimes realistic.
