You are going to study in a college in the UK next year. You would like to stay in a college Hall of Residence. Write a letter to the college. In your letter explain your accommodation requirements explain what your food needs are ask what alternatives are available if they cannot provide what you want

Dear Joyce, How are you? I am still immersed in the exciting atmosphere from
last
weekend.
However
, I'd like to ask you to do me a favour. Because I left my coat in your
home
. I vividly remember the
last
time I wore it was Sunday afternoon we went out shopping in a convenience store nearby. When we back to your
home
, I put it off and raise it up in the closet in the guest room. When I came back to my
home
, it isn't in the bag, I apologise to my stupid.
This
is a black coat with two main pockets. I actually can take it next weekend , but I found there are some necessary items in my pocket for
this
week. One of each is my ID card and the other one is my office key, both of which I need to use
this
week. Please help me to check the closet I live in in your
home
. I'm wondering whether or not you have available time to meet up with me tomorrow morning. I 'm looking forward to your call back. Best wishes, Tina.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
