The graph illustrates how many journeys were completed by students between the age between 5 and 12 in the years 1990 and 2010. The
way
itself consisted of the path to school and back home using various transition systems. It can be seen that
while
travelling in the
car
had increased everything else has fallen. By comparing the walking and
car
travelling it can be seen that the first dropper all of the sudden in 2 times,
while
the
car
travel raised in just about 2.5 times.
Car
passengers started in 1990 as the most unfavourable
way
of travelling
while
walking was the most common one. In 2010 things had become almost exactly the opposite. Everything else
also
showed a fall in numbers in
this
time period
such
as cycling dropped from six
millions
Change to singular
million
show examples
to two million and became the most unusual
way
of getting from home to school.
While
others
also
showed a decrease but not as much, walking and coach declined just about 50% and the bus dropped just for a quarter. In conclusion, all of the
way
of getting around declined in those 20 years apart of the vehicle transport showing steady rapid growth.
