Many museums charge for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

People
have a myriad of views on whether
museums
are suitable or not to acquire
entrance
fees
.
While
I accept that
this
practice for
museums
can sometimes have a harmful impact, I believe that they are more likely to have a positive impact. Among the detrimental impacts of acquiring
museums
'
ticket
fees
, probably the most significant reason is that
people
who suffer in poverty are hard to pay the
fees
, which impairs their right to learn the knowledge and appreciate the stunning works that are stored in
museums
. Since
museums
contain, depict, and even represent the culture of a city, everyone has the right to understand and know about those issues and resulting in enhancing their sense of belonging to their hometown.
For instance
,
Museum
Louvre in Paris, which was previously a palace, is one of the tourist spots that tourists must visit. Containing a variety of art pieces, it is
also
a place for visitors to know the local history of France. If we receive the
entrance
fee, poor
people
will hesitate to pay it and result in losing the chance to gain full knowledge of their own country.
However
, we can make it affordable for them.
For example
, the local government can set up a free
entrance
day per month or reduce the half price of the
ticket
fee for the needy.
Therefore
, low-level income
people
can have a favour to enjoy in
museums
. Despite the downsides of receiving a
museum
's
ticket
fee, I think that there are more benefits than drawbacks. Conserving and maintaining those art pieces and works in
museums
require huge amounts of money, which may cause a large burden to a nation or country's economy. It is better to acquire
fees
for maintaining the operation
as well as
expanding the content and works and improving the quality and standard of the building.
For instance
, The Palace
Museum
in Beijing is a famous spot for worldwide travellers, which attracted more than a million thousand
people
come to visit and the revenue is used for its operation and renovation of it.
Consequently
, the revenue earned from
ticket
fees
can make the
museum
develop continually. Under
this
line of thinking,
although
there are drawbacks to receiving
entrance
fees
in the
museum
, it is believed that there are even more benefits, which help to maintain the
museum
a long way.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
