. In some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do you think this is a good idea?
Nowadays, many teenagers looking for a job opportunity parallel with their schools.
This
phenomenon is very common between countries
fronting economic crises. In one way, everybody has to make out their daily expenses and help their families, but on the other hand
, I believe that can happen only in students’ free time and not take hours from their studies. Education has to be above all
. I will explain my opinion above.
Firstly
, is a fact that we leave in a century where economic crises are all around, and countries
have to figure out ways to help their society to live wealthy. By giving work to teenagers, many other problems might abandon. Youth discrimination, thieves and chaos, are some things that will be decreased if teenagers spent their space working. On the other hand
, if they don’t have actual productive family moments may we have the opposite results. For example
, in my community, they organised afternoon volunteer programmes for young people, in a way to be controlled and useful for their society, and as a payment, they provide them with food or daily expenses money.
Secondly
, and looking at the other side of the problem, if students work instead
of going to school or later to universities, in some years we will have the phenomenon of illiteracy. Our problems as nations will be increased. I strongly believe that literacy is valuable for all countries
. The youngest people learn how to collaborate with others and how to be useful citizens. As we see in all third world countries
where illiteracy is held, the societies faced many problems, such
as young age pregnancies, illnesses and chaos.
Lastly
, and always in my opinion, every young person has to complete his/her studies, and yes if they have time after helping with the economics of their families, by finding a job. Only then
they will be successful when they will grow up.Submitted by mayiou on
