Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. Others believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Nowadays, some experts argue whether people who study MBBS or Engineering in their
country
should

or abroad.
However
, others believe it should be the choice of the individuals studying it, whether they want to
practice
in their
home
country
or in a foreign land. In my opinion,
this
decision depends on the individuals themselves - whether they feel more comfortable

in their homeland or in a foreign
country
. I will be discussing both these opinions in the essay below.
Firstly
, let's discuss those who decide to leave their
home
country
to
practice
elsewhere
. The reason they tend to do so might be that they don't find the right motivation for them in their homeland. They seek perfection and move to another
country
where they can access new technology and well-equipped facilities that their own
country
lacks.
For instance
,
according to
recent census data, around 30 – 35% of Pakistani doctors and engineers moved abroad in search of a better quality of life and education, citing the lack of proper and reliable tools to
practice
in their
home
country
.
Secondly
, there are patriots among doctors and engineers who, regardless of the conditions, choose to stay with their
country
until the end. Their love and affection for their homeland prevent them from migrating
elsewhere
, and they always prefer to serve their own nation rather than foreigners.
For example
, one of my relatives is a doctor, and he was offered a high-ranking position in Dubai, but he rejected the offer and chose to stay in our
home
country
, Pakistan

because he wants to work for the betterment of our nation. In my opinion,
although
leaving one's
country
may seem wrong to some, every person is mature at
this
age and knows what's best for themselves and their
country
. So, whatever decision they make ultimately benefits them and is good for them. It is essential to respect their choices and support their aspirations, whether they decide to stay or
practice
abroad.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
