Many people prefer to watch foreign films rather than locally produced films. Why could this be? Should governments give more financial support to local film industries?

is the case and I believe that governments should promote local movie-making by subsidising the industry. Movies are products of culture,so foreign

allow American to see different cultures other than our own.

can be very beneficial because it creates open-mindedness and decreases stereotypes of other cultures. In my opinion, governments can play a vital role in helping the local film industry survive .For ,example the government provide tax relief for a movie based on local culture. They should

provide interest-free loans to regional filmmaking.

. In my conclusion, I believe that increased financial support could help raise the quality of locally made
