Nowadays, a growing number of people with health problems are trying alternative medicines and treatments instead of visiting their usual doctor. Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

Previously, there was very little concept of using a substitute medicine.
However
, these days major increase is observed in
this
trend, where individuals are taking pills themselves rather than obeying
doctor
's advice.
People
nowadays believe that visiting a
doctor
for the same issue is time wasting
due to
which they prefer their treatments at home. I believe
this
could be very harmful and lead to serious health issues. In
this
essay, I will explain why
this
activity is leading to negative development. Our world is advancing in technology day by day and because of
this
people
are
also
getting modernized, which is very good if we see it from a developmental perspective. But does
this
mean we now consider every common person to be an expert in every field? The answer is no. Becoming an understanding of a specific field is only possible when we specialize in that. In our society,
this
is the same
problem
. Numerous
people
are thinking that with the help of technology, they can come up with every desired solution to any medical
problem
.
Whereas
this
is never the case as every
problem
does not have a similar solution as each
problem
comes with severe complexities, that can only be resolved by showing it to doctors, and if not shown on time and relying on a solution of your own it might end up with other major complications.
For instance
, a teenage boy in India once got flu and
instead
of visiting the
doctor
, he searched for its cure on Google and applied those
as a result
, he has gotten even worse, and later when showed it to the
doctor
they said the medicine that he took was supposed to be for aged
people
with flu. That means it was an extremely high dosage for a teenage kid. In conclusion, I would say never rely on the internet and always takes professionals’ advice, and whatever they prescribe always go with that.
Although
, we have plenty of ways to look for solutions than visiting a
doctor
.
Nevertheless
, we shouldn't do that as it might result in serious issues, and we end up dying of
such
irresponsible acts.
