Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing great and I hope both of you are in good health. I have good news for you, ready? I completed my bachelor's with an
overall
B+. I was expecting an A actually, but remember the fever I had during
last
semester's exam? I couldn't perform
as well as
I liked, so can't complain. The result got published yesterday evening and I'm writing
this
to you the next morning. I am writing to let you know about the graduation. The graduation ceremony will be held in the university main hall on 15th July from 12:00 noon onwards. We have to be there by 10:00 am so that we have enough time for check in. It is expected to be wrapped up by 6 pm which is follwed by a dinner for all the guests and fresh graduates, which will take place in the canteen hall. Of course it's a formal event so I suggest you to prepare formal dresses. And guess what? I have 2 extra tickets.
Although
you two can decide whom to invite, I suggest you take uncle Ben and aunt Lisa. Anyway, let me know by
this
weekend because I have to book places for you all to stay and it will be difficult to find around graduation time. I'm looking forward for your reply. Take care. Your Son, Jake
