the plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today

The maps illustrate the differences between the first appearance of Grange Park in 1920 and its current form. Looking from the
overall
perspective it is readily apparent that almost every part of
this
area experienced significant changes,
while
two main entrances and one rose garden were unaltered. With regards to the first opening, there were two rose gardens along Arnold Avenue with four areas for seating around the park.
Also
, a pond for water plants was located on the right side at the top and a glasshouse was built at the bottom of the layout, where a stage for musicians and a bug fountain were established in the centre.
According to
the present plan, the pond for water plants and a rose garden on the right side were replaced by a children’s play area and a café respectively.
In addition
, a stage for musicians was transferred into an amphitheatre for concerts.
Although
the previous seats were totally destroyed, there are four new seating places around the rose garden in the centre.
Moreover
, a new underground entrance from the car park was constructed from Eldon Street.
