The given line graph compares the exportation of wheat in 3 different countries which are
Australia
, Canada, and Europe in the period of 5 years from 1985 to 1990. A glance at the graph reveals that
Australia
had the lowest amount of trade during
this
time between the two others. Clearly, Canada stands in the first place in
this
ranking with approximately 20% of wheat sending in 1985, which continued to experience a slight plunge to marginally over 15% in the next year and
this
was followed by a considerable soar during 1886 and 1987 which peaked at 25% in 1988.
This
trend saw a sudden sharp dive in 1989 and hit the lowest point at just less than 15%, but
then
surged to about 18% in 1990. Regarding the two other graphs ,
on the other hand
, they showed an opposite trend of fluctuations.
while
the European export of wheat was in second position in 1985 with nearly 17%,
this
record was 15% for
Australia
and in the next year when Europeans stand in third spot with less than 14%, the other soared to just over 16%. The trend
then
saw a modest rise for Europe to 15%, which brought it back to second place in the years 1987 and 1988 and
then
it witnessed a moderate jump to almost 22%, making it the number one in
this
ranking in 1990.
Australia
however
, experienced a gradual plummet during the three next years from 1987 to 1990 and
finally
hit a trough of just over 11%. On the whole, all three lands were more or less in the same position in the first year and back in 1986.
