In the future, nobody wiil buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is commonly accepted that some people get hold of the idea that online
publications
will completely replace printed
ones
in the upcoming years since readers are more interested in them. I agree with
this
opinion because printed
publications
are more expensive than online
ones
.
Also
, preparing papers to print
books
requires cutting trees.
To begin
with, online
publications
are more affordable financially because they do not need paper, which is an expensive item. The distribution expenses,
moreover
, are significantly lower for Ebooks and electronic journals compared to the traditional
ones
because they can be distributed via the Internet at the touch of a button.
As a result
, many customers can access electronic
books
just by joining online sharing websites, with negligible subscription fees
instead
of paying for expensive printed
ones
.
For example
,
while
the printed version of the latest Harry Potter novel costs almost 50 dollars, its fans can read the online copy by paying less than 5 dollars to its publisher.
As a consequence
, many book readers choose online versions over printed
ones
, which will eventually result in the elimination of the latter. From another perspective, printed
publications
mainly rely on the paper production industry, which requires cutting trees in its process.
This
, in turn, damages the jungles which are an essential part of the ecosystem. Considering
this
, many individuals believe that printed items should be eliminated from the market and substituted by digital
ones
to preserve nature.
For instance
, in Canada, Metro Newspaper which is supported by environmental activists, has started a campaign to stop printed school
books
from 2024. In my opinion, the same campaigns around the world will finish printed
publications
in the future. To recapitulate concerning all about facts we can clearly see,
due to
being affordable and eco-friendly, I believe printed
books
will be completely replaced by online versions in the future.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
