The charts below show the results of a survey on happiness rating for married and unmarried people in the US, and the effect of children rating on the overall ratings of married couples.
The bar charts illustrate the proportion of both married and unmarried satisfaction rates based on several age groups, including the happiness percentage by children for the married
one
. Generally, it is clearly depicted that the married person seems to be more happy than the opposite whether they have children or not.
Despite lower than half the overall
portion of married people, the first tabulated data shows that it is still much more delightful compared to the unmarried. As seen almost all different age groups have just slightly below 50% except for the 50-64 years old one
. Meanwhile, the unmarried person is depicted in contrast
as the group aged from 18-64 years old only has slightly over a fifth except for the eldest group which has just over a third of happiness.
Furthermore
, the infants also
affected the satisfaction rates for the married couples even though most of them are the one
who is under 18. As illustrated, this
provides the highest portion with over two-fifths. In contrast
, having children over 18 years old appears to be the least as it only represents 41% of happiness. Surprisingly, the one
who does not have any adolescence is only 1 per cent below the highest one
