As part of education, students should spend a period of time studying and living in different country to learn its language and culture. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is a common belief that, so as to gain more knowledge about other cultures and their languages,
students
have to spend time studying abroad.
While
there are some drawbacks regarding culture shock or language barriers, I am
also
of the opinion that
students
should spend a variety of years widening their knowledge and enhancing their linguistic ability. On the one hand, the idea of studying abroad would be a golden opportunity to get to know more about different cultures and languages. As we can see,
while
some people can only see the local traditions from around the world through the pictures, studying overseas gives us an opportunity to experience them in real life.
For instance
, should foreign
students
come to visit the Cu Chi Tunnel in
Viet Nam
Correct your spelling
Vietnam
show examples
, they can not only learn deeply about the historical events there but
also
experience the lives of the soldiers. Concerning linguistic ability,
students
who have long-term interaction with native people will obviously sharpen their fluency
as well as
acquire proficient new vocabulary.
On the other hand
,
students
who travel abroad can be faced with culture shocks and language barriers. It is clearly seen that some foreign
students
find it challenging to integrate with the surrounding community.
Additionally
, there is
also
the problem of the cost of living.
For example
, the flights, the accommodation, or even the fundamental demands.
However
, after a long time dealing with the difficulties,
students
can confidently show their knowledge of cultures and traditions. In conclusion,
while
there are drawbacks regarding studying abroad, I still believe that it is more beneficial to spend a period of time living and studying in another country because it is advisable that
this
would help the
students
enhance their linguistic ability and culture efficiently.
