It is thought by some that is better to live in a city while others believe it is better to live in the countryside. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

. As for my own opinion, I much prefer to live in the

 and will discuss both views in the following paragraphs. On the one hand, nowadays

 to make a good living.

, there are many companies that reside in the

 get easy access to these chances.
Additionally

 often has more diverse environments since

 with different backgrounds would come to big cities to change their

 for the better.

. On the flip side, there are a great number of

 prefer to live in the
countryside
, especially the elderly. To elaborate, the

 has a calming environment because it's full of nature and less crowded ,unlike

Moreover
, living in the
countryside
 has a main advantage

 as relieving stress and for elderly
people

countryside

 is preferable for settling down after retirement. With that,
countryside

city
lives
 might have a balance of
people
's preferences. To summarize,

 have both advantages and disadvantages. As for my opinion, I think it is better to live in the
city
 for youngsters who seek opportunities

 as studying and expanding a connection with diverse communities.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
