Your local public library wants to make improvements to their services and facilities. In order to get ideas from the public, they have asked library users to send them suggestions in writing. Write a letter to the librarian. In your letter describe what you like about the library say what you don’t like make suggestions for improvements. Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you because I would enjoy providing you with some suggestions for improving your services. As you can easily verify, I usually come every day to the library after work.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
