Dear Madam, I am writing
this
letter to get a helping hand from your side. I have started teaching English to my friend's child. He is very intelligent in every subject except English but he wants to score good marks in his weak subject and is ready to do hard work for
this
. I go to his house in the evening at 5pm after his school hours. We sit around 2 to 3 hours for studying. I have done 3 classes with him. I have been confronted with some problems during teaching which is the lack of good
books
. As I know you have a great collection of
books
related to English grammar. Those
books
already helped us during my study. If it is possible can you provide me with those
books
for just two months till his exams? Those grammar
books
will be helpful for him. I would be grateful to get your email on
this
matter. I am looking forward to hearing from your side. Yours sincerely, Yadwinder Singh

Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately

Linking words are very important in your essay.

To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.

Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.

Linking word examples:

  • firstly
  • secondly
  • thirdly
  • in additional
  • moreover
  • also
  • for example
  • for instance
  • therefore
  • however
  • although
  • even though
  • despite
