Some people believe that school should not be given homework by their teachers , whereas others argue that homework plays an important role in the education of children . Discuss both views and give your own opinion .

These days some people argue that children are forbidden to have
homework
at
home
from their teachers ,
while
others believe that
homework
has a significant meaning in their education. I totally agree with the first opinion and I will explain it afterwards. On the one hand, it is not good for pupils to have
homework
at
home
. Too much
homework
can make
students
very stressed and tired. It can
also
stop them from doing fun activities outside of school and having a good balance between studying and personal life. Another reason is every student does not have the same things they need for
homework
at
home
, like a quiet place to work or the right materials.
For instance
, some
students
may not have the books or internet they need, making it difficult for them to finish their
homework
and create a gap between
students
who have what they need and those who don't .
On the other hand
, we have that
homework
has a significant meaning because lets
students
practice and makes what they learned in class stronger. Doing more work on the same ideas and skills at
home
can help them get better at it.
Moreover
,
homework
helps
students
learn important things like being responsible, managing their time, and being disciplined. These skills are useful when they go to college or start working because they need to be organized and disciplined there too. I believe that
homework
should be given in a reasonable amount, and teachers should think carefully about why they're assigning it and how it affects
students
.
Homework
can be helpful for practising what we learn, getting ready for tests, and learning to be responsible. But it shouldn't be too much or make us really stressed. Teachers should
also
think about what each student needs and make sure the
homework
helps us learn what we're supposed to. In conclusion, there are good reasons for and against
homework
. It's important to find a balance between these viewpoints and think about what is best for
students
' health and learning in today's schools.
