many people have chosen to live by themselves in recent years.what has caused this to happen?does it have a positive or negative effect on the development of society?

Off late , people are opting to live their lives independently and free from any hassle.
This
trend has taken a sharp rise as individuals are becoming self-centred , career-oriented and financially self-sustainable. Despite, individuals being highly capable of looking into their own matters, its results are surprisingly on the negative side of a life graph as
depression
cases and crime rates are directly linked to
this
trendiest fashion. As individuals are given preference to live alone and away from the family, the chances of getting caught in the maze of
depression
are higher. In the absence of family members ,sharing of feelings with each other is declining as emotional attachments with each other are mitigating.
As a result
,
depression
cases are rising day by day. The USA and European countries in spite of being developed countries register the highest number of patients with stress and
depression
annually. When asked it was found the persons chose to stay away from immediate family members as they wished for an independent lifestyle.
Furthermore
, in the absence of firm moral support , persons with fickle minds come in contact with notorious elements of society like criminals ,which push them into the world of crime like drug abuse, smuggling and human trafficking. In India ,the youth who moves away from their towns to pursue careers ,are the ones who mainly get themselves engaged in activities like rape, theft and murder as no one is there to keep a check on them. To infer , it is seen that as allured by celebrities who openly advocate the self living without any parental influence , the young generation ,in ,particular has started to live on their own which has put their lives into the perils of loneliness, emptiness and pushing them into the trap of suicide.
