Some people say that allowing children to make their own choices on every day matters (such as food, clothes, and entertainment)is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think that it is important for children to make decisions about matters

Decision-making is a strong ability,
that is
essential for life survival. Some consider that making youngsters independent in the selection of their fundamental needs will result in a
society
full of selfish individuals,
while
according to
others
children
must make their own choices in every matter of life.
This
essay will discuss both sides and provide evidence as to why
children
must be independent in making
decisions
about their
lives
. It is perfectly reasonable for
parents
to allow their kids to choose whatever they want to fulfil their requirements like food, clothes, and entertainment.
However
,
this
freedom should be limited to some extent. If juvenile becomes too independent in the selection of their matters, it will enhance their potential to disobey their
parents
and eventually grow them in a
society
of people who are selfish and stubborn and have no corner of kindness in their heart. Despite
this
freedom of decision-making is significant in some circumstances that influence their
lives
. Unfortunately,
parents
tend to encourage their kids to live their
lives
according to
them, without knowing whether
this
decision is going to have a positive or negative impact on their offspring's
lives
.
For instance
, it has been commonly observed that the majority of
children
as students face the problem of selecting their major subjects in their higher studies, as their
parents
ask them to choose the subject stream of their choice. In consequence, students lose interest and are not able to achieve their goals. If
children
are allowed to make
decisions
in their early
lives
, definitely they will grow with strong personalities: making
decisions
and taking responsibility. Allowing
children
to be independent is not necessarily a bad thing. I believe that the decision-making ability ensures a
society
full of responsible individual and it
also
boost their confidence. Some people say that allowing
children
to make their own choices on everyday matters (
such
as food, clothes, and entertainment)is likely to result in a
society
of individuals who only think that it is important for
children
to make
decisions
about matters

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
