In many societies, there is a growing emphasis on sustainable living and reducing environmental impact. What are the challenges of adopting a sustainable lifestyle? What practical actions can individuals take to contribute to sustainability?

Nowadays, people are more concerned about sustainability and their impact on it.
However
, adopting
this
lifestyle
is not easy, it can involve
challenges
and changes in their
actions
. In
this
essay, I will explain what these
challenges
could be and how individuals can adopt new
actions
to contribute to sustainability.
Firstly
, adopting a new
lifestyle
is never easy. Especially in reducing your environmental impact, some of these
challenges
could include stopping consuming certain things and opting for eco-friendly ones.
For example
, there are some products for personal care that are made out of sustainable resources so that their production doesn't contaminate a lot as the others.
However
, these types of products are more expensive than regular ones, one example is the brand The Body Shop whose prices are 3 times higher than the regular body lotions in the market. These alternatives can involve

That is
why some people feel that adopting
this
type of
lifestyle
could be very hard. Even though
this
could be true in some way, every person can decide what
actions
they can

according to
their possibilities. Some of these
actions
are not linked directly to money.
For example
, walking or riding a bike to get to a place
instead
of using a car can be better for the environment and cheaper; collecting water in the shower can be useful to not wasting it,
such
as recycling things that can be considered as trash but they can be used in other ways. These
actions
can have the same impact and still contribute to the environment. People can keep an easy
lifestyle
while
taking care of the environment, though there are some
challenges
involved there are still solutions for it.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
