The chart shows the number of shops that closed and the number of new shops opening in a country from 2011 to 2018.
The graph illustrates the shops that were closed and the ones that opened between 2011 to 2018. In 2011 there were about 8,000 stores running, but it had drastically decreased by 4,000 shops in 2012.
After
this
year it started going up again,
however
, it just went up to 6,000 opened areas in 2014. Which still represents a low amount of them compared to the beginning. It dropped again in 2015 and stayed the same for 2 more years. Since 2017 it has been decreasing. Unfortunately, in 2015 more than 90 % of the stores had to close. Leaving less than 500 areas open.
Nonetheless
, the coming year had an expontaneous increase, getting back to 5.000 locations. From 2015 it has been stable. From the diagram, we can conclude that 2015 was a year of bankruptcy because almost all the shops had to close.
Nevertheless
, it came back more than 40% in 2016.
On the other hand
, the locations that are opening are still decreasing
