The diagram below shows how glass is recycled. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The chart displays the recycling process of glass.
Overall
, there are 6 stages of the glass recycling system, beginning with throwing them in recycle bins and ending with delivering the recycled material to supermarkets.
To begin
, used objects made from glass are thrown into specialized bins. Then
, the first raw materials are collected and brought to the treatment plant later by trucks. In the subsequent stage, the objects get washed and sterilized. These 2 functions are conducted by mechanical equipment at the plant. The crushing of items starts after that step, which makes them easier to put in the melting machine. After getting crushed properly, they are ready to go through the Liquidification system, where they will be heated at a high temperature until the melting starts.
At this
point, heating the liquid continues and they begin to change their current state gradually from solid to liquid. Having completed all the steps, the hot liquid is poured into a moulding machine to make new containers of different shapes. Finally
, the recycled containers are transported to the supermarket for commercial purposes.Submitted by Jasim Uddin Rahat on
